Given:

The ratio of Rita and Nita's present ages= 7 : 8

Sum of their ages = 75 yrs

Calculation:

Let Rita’s present age be 7x.

Let Nita’s present age be 8x

Sum of their ages = 75

⇒ 7x + 8x = 75

⇒ 15x = 75

⇒ X = 5

⇒ Rita’s present age = 7 × 5 = 35

⇒ Nita’s present age = 8 × 5 = 40

After 15 yrs :

⇒ Rita’s age = 35 + 15 = 50

⇒ Nita’s age = 40 + 15 = 55

Required ratio = Nita’s age : Rita’s age = 55 : 50 = 11 : 10

∴ Ratio of Nita and Rita's age is 11 : 10.
