Location of India :
1. India is located in the northern hemisphere.
2. The main land of India extends between latitudes 8°4’to 37° 6′ N and logitudes between 68° 7’to 97° 25° E.
3. The Tropic of Cancer (23° 30’N) passes almost through the middle of the country.
4. Apart from the mainland, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and the Lakshadweep are also parts of India.
