Following are the Rights of consumers.
1) Right to safety : Certain goods may cause serious injuries. These goods are pressure cookers, gas cylinders, electrical goods, etc. If there is any manufacturing defects in the goods, consumers have right to be protected against their fatal risk.
2) Right to be informed : A consumer has the right to be informed about the quality, quantity and price of the product.
3) Right to Choose : The consumer has the right to choose the product of his choice out of the alternative products available.
4) Right to seek redressal : Consumer have the right to seek redressal against unfair trade practices and exploitation.
