Best answer

The correct option (d)  temperature

Explanation:

H2(g) + I2(g) ⇋ 2HI(g)

'.' Number of moles of product

= number of moles of reactant

∴ No effect of  pressure.

Catalyst increase the rate of forward as well as rate of backward reaction, thus does not affect Kp

As the amount of reactant decreases / increases, in the same proportion the amount of product decreases / increases, so Kp does not depend on the amounts of H2 and I2

Hence, Kp depends only on temperature.
