P(A)+P(NOT A)=1
where A is any event,
So in this question
P(losing)=1-P(winning)
=1-0.26
=0.74
Therefore Probability of losing the game is 0.74

Probability of winning a game is P = 0.26

\(\therefore\) Probability of not winning the game = 1 - p = 1 - 0.26 = 0.74

(\(\because\) P(A) + P(not A)) = 1, for any event A)

Since, for a game, there are only two possibility.

Either you win the game or you lose the game.

\(\therefore\) Probability of losing the game is 0.74.
