Patol Babu was a man who tried to give his best in everything he did. When he was given his mono-syllabic dialogue ‘Oh !’ he gave different meaning to it like grief, sorrow, hurt, pain etc. When he was told about the scene, he decided that he would put sixty percent irritation and forty percent surprise into his utterance. He even rehearsed in front of a large glass window. When he was called for the shooting he wanted to rehearse but his request was turned down by Mr. Mullick. He even calculated his steps and timed them. All these things suggest that he was a meticulous man.
