Perimeter of ∆ABC= AB BC CA 

 = AB+[ BP+CP]+CA

= AB+BQ+CR+CA (Tangents from an external point are equal) 

= AQ+AR

= AR+AR (Tangents from an external point are equal) 

=2AR
