Best answer

The correct option (b) NaHSO4

Explanation:

Sodium thiosulphate, Na2S2O3 gets oxidised by chlorine water

Na2S2O3 + 4Cl + 5H2→ 2NaHSO4 + 8HCl

Na2S2O3 get oxidised by FeCl3 into Na2S4O6

2Na2S2O3 + 2FeCl3 → Na2S4O6 + 2FeCl2 + 2NaCl

Further Na2S2O3 decomposes on treatment with dilute acids

Na2S2O3 + 2HCl → 2NaCl + SO2 + S + H2O.
