  1. Legislature: The house which is constituted by the elected members of the state in our election. (By the voters)
  2. Lok Sabha: The house which is constituted by the elected members of the nation. This is also known as Lower House.
  3. Rajya Sabha: Some wise people are elected to this and some are nominated. This is also known as Upper House.
  4. Election Commission: An independent statutory body in India.
  5. Council of Ministers: The Prime Minister appoints some members of Parliament to this council. This is known as the Council of Ministers.
  6. Central list: Subjects on which laws can be made only by the Parliament. 
  7. State list: Subjects on which laws can be made only by State Legislature Assemblies.
  8. Concurrent List: Subjects on which laws can be made by both Parliament and State Legislature Assemblies.
