If mean of logx, log2x, log8, log4x, log4, log x is log4 then x = _______ (where x > 0)

The correct option (b) 2  

Explanation:

Mean = [(logx + log2x + log8 + log4x + log4 + logx)/6]

∴ [{log(256x4)}/6] = log4

∴ log(256x4) = 6 × log4

∴ 256x4 = 46

∴ x4 = [46/(256)]

∴ x4 = 16

∴ x = 2.
