Best answer

The change from Mn2+ to Mn3+ results in the half-filled (d5) configuration which has extra stability.

So, MnF3 has most oxidising tendency.

MnF3 ⇒ Mn3+ ⇒ 3d4  n = 4

\(\mu = \sqrt{4(4 + 2)} = \sqrt{24}BM\)

\(= 4.89 \approx 5BM\)
