The extreme quartiles of normal distribution are 20 and 30. Find its mean.

Here, Q1 = 20; Q3 = 30

∴ M = \(\frac{Q3+Q1}{2} = \frac{30+20}{2} = \frac{50}{2}\) = 25

In normal distribution, Mean = Median = Mode

∴ Mean µ = 25
