Correct option: (A) 50 J

Explanation:

V = ax(3/2) 

V = 5x(3/2) 

when  x = 0, V = V1 = 0

when  x = 2, V2 = 5(2)(3/2) 

Workdone = (1/2)m(V22 – V12) = Δ KE

= (1/2) × 0.5 (25 × 8 – 0)

= 50 J
