Correct option: (A) 3.5

Explanation:

V ∝ (1 / √r)

(V2 / V1) = √(r1 / r2)

V2 = V1 × √(r1 / r2)

∴ V2 = 7 × √(r1 / 4r1)

V2 = 3.5 km/s
