Correct option: (A) Zero, PV

Explanation:

Work done = area under curve = P ∙ ΔV

(1) (P, V) to (2P, V) here volume is constant

∴   W = P ∙ ΔV = P × 0 = 0

(2) (P, V) to (P, 2V) hence

W = P 2VV dv = P(2V – V) = PV
