Best answer

When dilution increases, the degree of dissociation of weak electrolytes also increases.

The mathematical form is

\(\alpha = \sqrt{\frac{K_a}C}\)

where ‘α’ is the degree of dissociation, Ka is the dissociation constant of the acid and ‘C’ is its concentration.
