Seminal vesicles, prostate gland and bulbourethral glands are accessory glands of the male reproductive system. Semen also known as seminal fluid is a slightly alkaline mixture of sperm cells and secretions from the accessory glands. Around sixty percent of the volume of the semen is made of secretions from the seminal vesicles.
