26M2+ का इलेक्ट्रॉनिक विन्यास = 1s2, 2s2, 2p6, 3s2, 3p6, 3d6, 4s0

ताताना अयुग्मित इलेक्ट्रॉनों की संख्या (n) = 4

चुम्बकीय आघूर्ण (μ) = \(\sqrt {n(n+2)} = \sqrt {4(4 +2)} = \sqrt {24} =4.89 BM\)
