M परमाणु (Z = 27) का इलेक्ट्रॉनिक विन्यास [Ar] 3d7 4s2 है। 

∴ M2+ का इलेक्ट्रॉनिक विन्यास = [Ar] 3d7

अतः इसमें तीन अयुग्मित इलेक्ट्रॉन हैं। 

∴ ‘प्रचक्रेण-मात्र चुम्बकीय आघूर्ण
