Divide polynomial f(x) = 4x3 – 3x2 + 2x – 4 by other polynomial g(x) = x – 1. Find the quotient and remainder.

Given f(x) = 4x3 – 3x2 + 2x – 4

and g(x) = x – 1

Now, we divide f(x) by g(x) as follows:

Hence, quotient q(x) = 4x2 + x + 3 and remainder r(x) = – 1
