A primary school was opened in Bholi’s village. The Tehsildar asked Bholi’s father to send his daughters to school. It was socially restricted to send girls to school. Nobody would marry a girl who had gone to school. So he was not ready to send any of his daughters to school.
But Bholi’s father had no courage to disobey the Tehsildar. Bholi’s mother suggested that Bholi should be sent to school. She said that Bholi was ugly and witless. There already stood no chance of getting her married. There was no harm in sending her school. Thus, they sent Bholi to school to please the Tehsildar.

He postpones the attack and tells his invasion fleet to quit the earth.
