UNICODE is a standard encoding system that has been developed to incorporate all the characters of every written language of the world. UNICODE provides a unique number for every character, irrespective of device (server, desktop, mobile), operating system (Linux, Windows, iOS) or software application (different browsers, text editors, etc.).
So, the main advantage of preparing a digital content in Indian language using the Unicode is that we don’t need to have that font installed on our system to render the language characters.
