IP (Internet Protocol) address is a 32-bit address which is given to every node that is connected to the network. If the device is not connected to the network then it does not has IP address but it has MAC address regardless it is connected to the network or not. Also, MAC address is fixed and cannot be changed whereas IP address changes every time the device is connected to the internet.
