√2x + √3y = 0 ------- (1)

√3x - √8y = 0 ------- (2)

Multiply eqn 1 with √8

We get,

4x + 2√6y = 0 ------ (3)

Multiply eqn 2 with √3

We get,

3x - 2√6y = 0 ------ (4)

Add eqn (3) & (4)

We get,

4x + 2√6y = 0 +
3x - 2√6y = 0
--------------------
7x = 0

Therefore x = 0

Substituting x in any above eqn we will get y = 0.
