Correct option is (D) 1/2, -1/2

x2 − 3px + p2 = 0

sum = α+β = 3p

product = αβ = p2

Correct option is D

x2−3px+p2=0

sum=α+β=3p

product=αβ=p2

α22=(α+β)2=2αβ

7/4=(3p)2−2p2

7/4​=7p2

p2=1/4​p

=±1/2
