(a) Both assertion and reason are true and the reason is correct reclamation of the assertion.

(b) Both assertion and reason are true, but reason is not correct explanation of the assertion.

(c) Assertion is true, but the reason is false.

(d) Both, assertion and reason are false.

Assertion: In balanced standard wheastone bridge, RAC = [{(P + Q) (R + S)}/{P + Q + R + S}]

The correct option (b) Both assertion and reason are true, but reason is not correct explanation of the assertion.

Explanation:

in balanced whetstones bridge,

current through path BD = 0

hence VB = VD

also as I through BD = 0

Req = (P + Q) || (R + S) = [{(P + Q)(R + S)}/{P + Q + R + S}]

Hence both statements are true but reason is not correct explanation of assertion.
