Best answer

The correct option (c) [{e2}/{e2 – 1}]

Explanation:

e = 15V

L = 5H

R = 10Ω

current = I = IO(1 – e–(Rt/L))

at t = ∞,   I = IO(1 – e–∞) = IO(1 – 0) = IO

at t = 1,  I = IO(1 – e–(R/L))

Hence

[{It=∞sec} / {It=1sec}]  = [{IO}/{IO(1 – e–(R/L))}]

= [1/{1 – e–(R/L)}]

= [1/{1 – e–(10/5)}]

∴ ratio is [1/{1 – e–2}] = [1/{1 – (1/e2)}] = [{e2}/{e2 – 1}].
