The tangent from a point to the circle x² + y² = 1 is perpendicular to the tangent from the same point to the circle x² + y² = 3. Show that the locus of the point is a circle .

 According to condition 

Now h² + k² ≠ 0 as no tangent will be possible. 

∴ The locus of point is a circle
