The correct option (A) 2

Explanation:

Vrms = √(3RT/MO) i.e. Vrms = √(T/Mo)

∴ (VA/VB) = √{(TA/TB) × (MB/MA)}

Given:

(TA/TB)   = 4 (MA/MB) hence (VA/VB)

= √{4 × (MA/MB) × (MB/MA)}

= 2

Hence (VA/VB) = 2
