45 ml of vapours at NTP are obtained from 0.24 gm

22400 ml of vapours at NTP are obtained from = \(\frac{0.24}{45}\) x 22400 = 119.46 g

Thus molecular weight of the substance = 119.46

\(\therefore\) V.D. = \(\frac{119.46}2 \) = 59.73
