Best answer

Formic anhydride is unknown, formic acid when dehydrated with conc. H2SO4 gives CO and H2O

\(HCOOH \xrightarrow {conc.\,H_2SO_4} CO+H_2O\)

Acid anhydrides can also be prepared by treating sodium salts of acids with acid halides.
