In Excel, you can undo the last action using both a keyboard shortcut and the ribbon. Here's how to do it:

Using the Keyboard Shortcut (Ctrl + Z on Windows, Command + Z on Mac):

  1. To undo the last action, press "Ctrl" and "Z" keys together on your keyboard if you're using Windows, or "Command" and "Z" keys together if you're using a Mac.

  2. Each time you press the shortcut, Excel will undo one action at a time. You can press it repeatedly to undo multiple actions, moving backward in your editing history.

Using the Ribbon:

  1. Open Excel and locate the "Quick Access Toolbar" at the top-left corner of the Excel window.

  2. In the Quick Access Toolbar, you should see the "Undo" button represented by a left-pointing arrow icon. If it's not there, you can add it by customizing the toolbar.

  3. Click the "Undo" button in the Quick Access Toolbar to undo the last action. Each click will undo one action at a time.

  4. If you want to undo multiple actions, click the "Undo" button repeatedly, moving backward through your editing history.

Using either of these methods, you can quickly undo the last action or a series of actions in Excel, helping you correct mistakes and maintain control over your spreadsheet editing process.
