Combs are used to style hairs in different manner. Combs are classified on the basis of their different shapes and sizes are as follows:
1. Flat back brush: It is used while root lifting if the hair is short.
2. Tail or teaser comb: It is used for sectioning the hair. The teeth of this comb are tightly spaced and the comb has a long.
3. Radial brush: It is most suitable for inducing curls, root lift and volume in all hair lengths.
4. Vent brush: It is a light weight brush with small spaces that allow the heat from the dryer to flow into the hair.
5. Dressing comb: Its teeth are medium spaced and it is used for styling and finishing blow dry.
6. Wide toothed or rake comb: The teeth of such a comb are widely spaced and used for untangling wet or dry hair.
