(i) Family Planning

Family planning plays a dominant role for the happiness and prosperity of an ideal family. Family planning means a suitable planning of a family to provide better opportunities and facilities for the maintenance of family, proper education to children and to lead a happy and prosperous life. It can be achieved only, when the family will be short, It will help in taking proper care of the family members. For this very objective the family should consist of self (husband), wife and one or two children (sons and daughters). Then the family will nicely enjoy the pleasure of life-'Higher standard of living, proper education to children and peace of mind. The government has formed a separate directorate under the ministry of "Family-welfare" to educate people for family planning.

We must adopt family planning for our welfare.

(ii) Early Rising

There are many advantages of early rising. A man who is an early riser gets time to do lots of work. In the early morning the mind is fresh, So, an early riser can do hard work more attentively. An early riser enjoys the beauty of Nature in the morning. He gets fresh morning air which keeps him fit for the whole day. Early rising is good for health. An early riser goes to bed early and sleeps well at night. An early riser can do a lot of work before the other people get up. He is healthy, happy and relaxed most of the time. So, early rising has many advantages in human life.

(iii) Independence Day

The 15th of August is our Independence Day. India got freedom on the 15th of August, 1947. Since then the Independence Day is celebrated every year. On this day all Govt. Offices, Schools and Colleges are closed. The day is celebrated everywhere with pomp and joy. The national flag is hoisted on all Govt. buildings. The Prime Minister hoists the national flag on the Red Fort and gives his message to the nation from its ramparts. The whole nation enjoys this national festival. Even in the state capitals, the day is celebrated with great enthusiasm. The day gives us a message to preserve our freedom at all costs. It is really a red letter day in the history of India.
