दिया है: △AOD ~ △COB  [AAA समरूपता कसौटी।

साथ ही ∠AOD = ∠COB    [शीर्षाभिमुख कोण]

और ∠D = ∠B         [एकांतर कोण]

अतः ∠A = ∠C         [एकांतर कोण]

\(\therefore\) AD || BC
