Since it was not specified, I am making the assumption that the shaded portion on the right and the unshaded portion on the lower left are halves of circles. Therefore the area of the shaded portion of the figure is the area of the rectangular portion, plus the area of the half circle on the right, minus the area of the unshaded half circle on the lower left. Or:
Area = (4m x 6m) + 1/2(pi x (2m)2) - 1/2(pi x (1m)2)
Using 22/7 as an approximation for pi, we get the total area as approximately 28.7124 m2
At Rs 50 per square meter the total charges will be approximately Rs 1435.62
