Best answer

Correct option is (B) 19

Soluion:

Given:

Kaju Barfi = 420

Badam Burfi = 150

Concept used:

HCF = Highest Common Factor

HCF of two or more numbers is the largest number that can divide each of the numbers without leaving a remainder.

Calculation:

Factors of 420 = 2 × 2 × 3 × 5 × 7

Factors of 150 = 2 × 3 × 5 × 5

HCF(420, 150) = 2 × 3 × 5 = 30

The number of such stacks formed is 30.

Number of stacks = 420/30 + 150/30 = 14 + 5 = 19

∴ The correct answer is 19.
