Correct option is : (3) outside the cable

The magnetic field

\(\oint \vec{B} \cdot {d} \vec{\ell}=\mu_{0} \mathrm{i}_{\text {enc }}=0\)

\(\therefore \mathrm\ {B}=0\) outside the cable
