IAM Users represent individual users and can have security credentials such as passwords or access keys.
IAM Groups are collections of IAM users. Policies can be attached to groups, which simplifies managing permissions for multiple users.
IAM Roles are used to delegate permissions to entities that you trust. They are not associated with a specific user or group but are assumed by entities like AWS services or EC2 instances.
