The republic-day was celebrated in our school on 26th January. The school was highly decorated on the occassion. There was a grand arrangement for flag- hoisting programme. A cultural programme was also held. Distinguished persons and guardians were invited to attend the function. Our local M.L.A. was the chief- guest, who hoisted the flag amidst the national anthem, which had filled our hearts with a new vigour and strength to serve the nation. A colourful cultural programme with melodious national song was most charming. Packets of sweets were served to all those, present on the occasion. On the whole, it was a grand celerbation.
