Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav
Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is a national campaign to celebrate 75 years of independence. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on 12th March, 2021, which will be celebrated for a span of 75 weeks ending on 15th August 2023. The campaign focuses on India's history, culture, development and future. Several events, programs and campaigns have been launched under this initiative. The programs have been launched on both national and state levels. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav shows India's achievements in the past 75 years while focusing on development in the coming years. The initiative marks goals to be achieved by 2047 when India will complete 100 years of independence.
