Best answer

m)Violet > (δm)red

We know that

λred > λviolet

Since λ ∝ \(\frac{1}{\mu}\)

So µred < µviolet

As µ = \(\frac{sin \frac{A+\delta_m}{2}}{sin A/2}\)

So (δm)red < (δm)violet

or (δm)violet > (δm)red.
