Given: [23x−1+10]÷7 = 6

⇒23x−1 + 10 = 6×7

⇒ 23x−1+10 = 42

⇒23x−1 = 42−10

⇒23x−1 = 32

⇒23x−1 = (2)5

When bases are same across equal sign then powers must be also same.

⇒ 3x−1 = 5

⇒ 3x = 6

∴ x = 6/3 = 2
