We know that extrinsic semi-conductors are of two types n or p-types. In n-type semiconductor, the number of free electrons is much more than holes. So electrons are majority carriers and holes are minority carriers.

Similarly in a p-type semiconductor, holes are much more than electrons. So holes are majority carriers and electrons are minority carriers.
