  • It produces huge energy.
  • Nuclear reaction can be controlled.
  • It is the principle of atom or fission bomb.

Nuclear fusion

  • Two light nuclei combine to form a heavier nucleus.
  • It also produces huge energy.
  • Nuclear reaction can be controlled.
  • It is the principle of hydrogen or fusion bomb.
