(i) Polythene CH2=CH2 Houseware, containers, bottles toys, films, packing material etc.
(ii) PTFE  CF2 =CF2 Non-stick utensils, gaskets, pump packings, valves, seals and non-lubricated bearings
(iii) Polybutadiene  CH2 = CH - CH = CH2 Polybutadiene has a high resistance to wear and is used especially in the manufacture of tires, which consumes about 70% of the production.
(iv) Bakelite  HCHO For making gears, protective coating and electrical fittings
