Correct option is (A)

From Henry's law,

\(p_{gas} = k_H \times X_{gas}\)

\(\because X_{H_2O} + X_{gas} = 1\)

\(\therefore p_{gas} = k_H \times (1 - X_{H_2O})\)

\(\Rightarrow p = k_H - k_H \times X_{H_2O}\)

\(p = (-k_H) \times X_{H_2O} + k_H\)

From \(Y = mX + C\)

slope is \(-k_H\) and intercept is \(k_H\)

The intercepts are in the following order for w, x, y and z

\(w<x<y<z\)

The most appropriate plot is given by option A.
