Correct option is (c) either of the two

The salt of the strong acid and strong base does not hydrolyse, so the pH at the equivalence point is 7. A slight excess of the base causes the pH to increase to 9.5 where phenolphthalein gives pink colour. On the other hand, a slight excess of the acid lowers the pH to 3.5 where methyl orange produces red colour.
