Best answer

Correct option is (a) 0.5 l of A + 1.5 l of B

Let x l of solution be required. Then

0.5x + 0.1(2 - x) = 0.1 \(\times\) 2 , or x = 0.5 l

Volume of solution B = 2 - 0.5 = 1.5 l
