Best answer

Contribution of atom "A" at eight corners of the cube = \(\frac 18 \times 8 = 1\) atom

Contribution of atom at each face = \(\frac 12 \) atom

\(\therefore\) The atoms "B" at six faces of the cube = \(\frac 12 \times 6 = 3\) atoms

Formula of the compound = AB3
